Yeah, I'm posting something. Rejoice. Forgive the lack of posts lately, but I've had to dedicate all my writing time to this novel monster. No, I haven't posted any excerpts from it yet. I don't know that I will, either, since it has turned out to be so godawful. Don't worry. I'll probably break down and post it at some point. I've had an offer to edit it, believe it or not. Poor girl doesn't know what she's getting into. I don't really have anything newsworthy to mention.
Oh, Denver, the bass player, stepped down from his position in earthShine. In English that means he quit. Can't say I'm too surprised, we haven't done much recently. So, the remaining three of us have decided to do some recording, to document our musical output, then we'll figure out where to go from there. In the meantime, I'm entertaining offers from other interested parties seeking guitar services. It would help if everyone and their cousin didn't play guitar. Being someone who's not big on talking himself up, it's difficult to force myself to come right out and say that I believe that I am, in fact, the best unknown guitarist in the world. Yep. My complete distaste for self-promotion will ensure that I remain unknown, too. Not to mention my crippling laziness. Oh, and my social awkwardness, too. Can't forget that.
Time to give thanks!
I'm thankful for my mind. I like it. It works. This is all despite the fact that I'm often convinced that I've lost it.
I'm thankful for you! If you are reading this, I'm a big fan of yours. You rock.
I'm thankful for...This banana. Mmmm. I loves me some banana.
I'm thankful for my increased ability to get up off of that thang, that has been displayed this year.
I'm thankful that it is time for me to get off work. This also means it is time for me to wrap this up. I'll post again, at the very latest, December 1st, to let you know if I succeeded in my NaNoWriMo efforts. I crossed the 30K word barrier last night! 20K to go...
